Ariu guesthouse is located in Rugove, near the river Allaga. The guesthouse has a very attractive position, very close to the highest sea level in Rugove called Hajle. The guesthouse is located in Rugove, 1304 meters above sea level. It’s very busy during traditional games in Rugove. The guesthouse is frequented more during weekends.
The name of the guesthouse means bear; it is named so because the village is famous for the number of bears seen there. Ariu holds the first place in the Balkans for traditional food and fast food, in the Italian-Bulgarian project. During summer they offer homemade beverages made of berries. During winter at night they organize walks in the snow with lights and all the right equipments. Other activities here include organized hiking. Different traditional activities are organized here too, such as Albanian dancing.
